Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has condoled the death of five civilians killed in the “ crossfire” along the Line of Control in Balakote sector of Poonch .”
In a tweet, the Chief Minister wrote on Sunday morning “ Anguished to hear of five people losing their lives in the crossfire along the LoC in the Balakote sector of poonch.
“ My deepest condolences to their family.”
Early this morning five members of a family of Mohammad Ramzan were killed in Pakistan shelling. Three of them are children.
Former Chief Ministers and National Conference leaders Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah have also expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.
