Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti once again reiterated for talks with Pakistan to avoid casualties on borders due to cross-border firing.
Mehbooba today tweeted, “Saddened to hear about demise of a 45-year old woman losing her life in the crossfire along the LoC in Poonch. We must open a dialogue to avoid further casualties.”
It is worth mentioning that a civilian woman killed and three army soldiers injured in Pakistani shelling at LoC in Jammu region.
Meanwhile, Defence sources said that Pakistan army also dropped shells in the residential areas today and last night.
