Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly is all set to replace Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh in the ministerial reshuffle on Monday , according to highly placed sources in BJP.
Kavinder’s fortunes were lifted Kavinder Gupta on Sunday when the BJP High Command decided to change its legislature party leader and also the Deputy Chief Minister, the position held by Nirmal Singh till date .
Gupta was elected from prestigious Gandhi Nagar constituency of Jammu city defeating Congress heavy weight leader and minister Raman Bhalla in the 2014 Assembly elections. He was made Speaker, while the post of Deputy Chief Minister was allocated to Nirmal Singh who had been the state party president for two terms.
Nirmal was elected from Billawar constituency of Kathua district in the Assembly elections .
BJP is reported to have proposed the names of Ravinder Raina , Rajeev Jasrotia, Manyal as the new ministers.
There also is possibility PDP inducting Khalil Bandh of Pulwama and Mohammad Ashraf Mir , M L A Sonawar, Srinagar as its new ministers .
