Authorities on Wednesday suspended all private mobile network and interent service in view of ongoing gunfight in Bomai village of Sopore town.
“Mobile network and internet services suspended in Sopore area and Zainagair area to stop rumours about encounter,” said senior police official.
He further said security forces did not want any causality from civilian side as per reports some youths are engaged forces in stone pelting and helping militants to escape from the encounter site.
Reports also said only BSNL service is working including landline broadband services.
