Jammu, December 28: JK government to organize Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Lecture by Lord Megnad Desai in Jammu on January 8 to commemorate death anniversary of former CM.
The Govt has also instituted an annual award named “Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Award for Probity in Public Life” to be conferred on a political personality from the country on the same day. The idea has been conceived by Finance Minister, Haseeb Drabu, who is also coordinating the programme.
