Jammu and Kashmir Police have worked out the murder of 9-years-old boy at Bari Brahmana area in Samba district.

SSP Samba, Anil Magotra informed that on March 06, 2018, Kanta Devi wife of Kuldeep Kumar of Meen Sarkar in Bari Brahmana lodged a missing report of his son age about 09-years in police station Bari Brahmana. Later, his body recovered and then police have begun investigation of the blind murder case and solved the same within 10-days.

“Acting swiftly on the complaint, a case FIR No. 38/2018 U/S 363 was registered at police station Bari Brahmana and investigation started. During the course of investigation, the dead body of missing boy Sonu son of Meen Sarkar was found from near his house on which section 302 of RPC was established and added,” the SSP said.

Taking cognizance into the matter, Anil Magotra, SSP Samba constituted a special team led by Inspr Mahesh Sharma to work out the blind murder case at the earliest. During the course of investigation, a number of suspects were rounded up and put to interrogation.

In the questioning, one suspect broke his silence and confessed his involvement in the crime. During investigation, the said accused further disclosed the involvement of one more accused in this heinous crime. Both the accused were arrested and a blind murder case has been solved with thecontinues strenuous effort put forth by the special team so constituted under the overall supervision of SSP Samba.
