14384 cases disposed off, Rs 5.25 cr awarded as compensation in MACT

JAMMU, APRIL 22:
National Lok Adalat was held across the J&K State today on 22nd April 2018 at High Court, District and Tehsil level under the Patronage of Chief Justice (Acting), High Court of J&K ( Patron-in-Chief J&K State Legal Services Authority), Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar.
According to a statement issued by R N Wattal, Member Secretary J&KSLSA, total number of 14384 cases were disposed off and an amount of Rs 5.25 crore approximately was awarded as compensation in MACT cases and Rs 67.20 Crore approximately was settled in Bank recovery suits in the said National Lok Adalat in the Stat
