In a different kind of initiative during holy Navratra days, the Governing Body of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Kakryal, today announced several concessions to the patients undergoing major surgeries and other procedures across all the clinical specialities.

Sunil Narayan, Chief Executive Officer of Superspeciality Hospital Kakryal informed that w.e.f. 1st October 2016 the Hospital will provide 50% concession on next 100 major surgeries. Today’s decision will provide very significant relief to the patients who have been awaiting treatment and surgery but could not mobilise the required resources. Cardiac surgeries, Knee-replacements and Hip-replacements are among the major surgeries which will be provided 50% concession on the hospital’s normal rates.

These concessions shall be provided to the patients from October 1, 2016 onwards, on the auspicious occasion of commencement of holy Navratras. It is pertinent to mention that the Hospital has been announcing varied concessions as part of its commitment to provide affordable healthcare. Dr. Bloeria informed the Governor that the total cost of various concessions extended to the patients since April 2016 amounts to Rs. 1.73 crore.

The Governing Body has also announced its decision to extend free OPD facility and 10% concession on all other procedures, across the various specialities, upto 31st December 2016. These concessions have been announced with a view to benefit the people at large, particularly the locals and patients belonging to the economically less advantaged strata of the society.
