Leader of Opposition in State Assembly and working president of National Conference (NC) Omar Abdullah today assured the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti that his party is with State Govt if it is serious to end this bloodshed in Kashmir.
Speaking on the adjourment motion over the civilian killing of two persons at Shopian, Omat Abdullah said, “I assurred you that NC is with you if you are serious to end bloodshed.”
“During our time, we cannot control such incidents because our central govt or state was not so strong, but your govts are strong. Then why such incidents are happening day by day,” said Omar.
The NC leader further daid that if FIR is already quoting names of the army personnel, then why is the need of Magisterial inquiry ? Then make FIR as primary document and police have to do its work.
He also raised that opposition is not playing politics, but it is inside. He said, “Politics is not from our side, it is from inside coalition partners.”
