To commemorate the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, father of the nation, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly also observed one minute silence in the house.
After the completion of Question Hour, BJP state president and MLA Sat Sharma raised that entire country is commemorating the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, so it is also duty to of the state assembly to do this here.
Then Speaker Kavinder Gupta agreed and said that one minute silence was observed in the Lower House.
