Opposition today strongly protested inside the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly and staged walkout on the issue of discrimination in macadamization of roads in Srinagar.
Soon after the House proceedings began in the assembly, NC and Congress members raised issue of discrimination with assembly segments of opposition MLAs in macadamization of roads, especially in Srinagar and other areas of Kashmir.
The Lower House witnessed noisy scenes and strong allegations on government on the issue. NC MLA raised the issue and Congress also followed. Later all the opposition benches staged walkout from Assembly to protest discrimination in macadamization of roads in Srinagar.
