Srinagar, February 24:
Pakistan has resorted to heavy firing and shelling in Uri villages in north Kashmir on this side of the Line of Control Saturday morning .
Pakistani troops have been targeting the civilian population in Uri for the past three days with regular intervals . This already has made more than 5,000 border residents to flee their homes to safe places .
The Indian army is retaliating .
As of now there are no reports of any casualties
