Director General of Police Dilbag Singh claimed on Saturday that the police have got a number of leads suggesting that MLA Wachi Aijaz Ahmad Mir ‘s SPO Adil Bashir who looted rifles and personal pistol of the legislator was in touch with the militants.
Dilbag Singh while answering questions of reporters on the sidelines of a function in north Kashmir district f Bandipore said that ” all those who figure on the radar of investigators would be quizzed.”
In reply to another question whether the MLA too would be questioned, the DGP said ,” anyone who needs to be questioned for investigations, would be questioned.”
The police chief claimed that the leads suggested that the concerned SPO was in touch with militants. His looted rifles were shown by Hizb-ul-Mujahadeen in its pictures circulated on social media.
