Rajouri, January 27:
In a one day youth convention of Peoples Democratic Party convened in Rajouri, Youth cadre warmly welcomed the new State Youth General Secretary Anjum Mirza hailing from Rajouri’s Thanamandi area.
On arrival of Mirza from Jammu alongwith other party state body leaders, party cadre welcomed him at Kallar chowk and than took out a rally which culminated in Dak Bungalow Rajouri wherein the convention was organised.
Youth PDP Vice President, Varinder Singh Sonu chaired this convention organised in favour of new youth general secretary, Anjum Mirza in which other state body leaders including Mohsin Qayoom Wani was present.
On this occasion, party cadre hailed the decision of state body to nominate Mr. Anjum Mirza as general secretary and said that he is a hardcore worker of party and has always led the cadre from fore front.
PDP leaders of state body including vice president Varinder Singh Sonu said that Mr. Mirza has proved his mettle as a hard working party leader and has been given important responsibility of state general secretary post.
Newly nominated state general secretary Anjum Mirza thanked the party leadership for his nomination as general secretary and said that all efforts needed to further strengthen the party will be taken from his side.
