Defying terrorists and separatists, the people turned out in large numbers to take part in the Republic Day celebrations in Jammu , where national tricolor was unfurled by Governor N N Vohra at M AM stadium .
Several hundreds of people watched the R-Dy parade and cultural function that lasted for little over two hours .
The R-Day functions were held across the Kashmir Valley as well.
Revenue Minister Abdul Rehman Veeri took he salute of the parade at the Sher-e-Kashmir cricket stadium.
Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti attended the main function at M A M stadium .
