Jammu, February 06: In an another major crackdown after busting of 1200 bottles of Codaine, Police station Batote once again smashed a big criminal intention to destroy hundreds of lives in and outside state.
A police team led by SHO Batote, Vijay Choudhary stopped a truck JK08A-1433 on NHW near Old Bridge Nashri, suddenly driver left his vehicle and fled taking the edge of darkness when the vehicle got checked, a huge quantity of Poppy straw (bhukki) found loaded in the truck, the same has been recovered and seized bearing weightage of 195 kilograms.
Accordingly an FIR has been registered at Police station Batote numbering 16/ 2018 u/s 8/15 NDPS Act , investigation starts to nab the driver of this veh and to surface the actual Group backing this all Nexus.
It is pertinent to mention here that in the near past Batote police had also busted a narcotics Gang by siezing a tremendous quantity of 1200 Banned medicine Codaine on NHW1A coming from outside state to valley.
