The Director of School Education , Kashmir Tuesday announced the winter vacation for Kashmir Valley schools from December 19.
An order issued by the Education Department on Tuesday said that the vacations from primary to eighth standard will start from December 19 while as for High and Higher Secondary classes will start from December 26, the order said.
Last working day for primary and 8th classes will be Dec 17 while as last working day for High and Higher secondary classes will beDec 24.
The winter vacations for all classes will end on February 28, 2017.
