Security Forces have launched search operation outside Air Force Station Awantipora in South Kashmir after terrorists allegedly open fire on Air Force Water Pump.
Sources informed that two-three unknown terrorists today evening fire and lobbed grenade at the Air Force Water Pump House, Malangpora located outside AF Station, Awantipora at around 5:30 pm. The fire was effectively retaliated by alert sentries. The terrorists fled, but there is no loss of life and property.
Meanwhile, a search operation has been launched in the area, which is still underway.
