Army and police jointly launched a sear h opeeation in Domana area after two suspects were spotted by a Sentry outside an army camp in the area, this morning.
Sources however said that a fresh attack was averted by alert guards at the entrance of an Army camp in Jammu’s outskirt Domana area.
Two motorcycle borne suspects approached the entry point of the Army camp in Domana area around 4.30 a.m. As the guards retaliated the militants were forced to flee, police said.
“A search operation is now underway to trace the suspected militants,” they said.
The incident comes close on the heels of the Sunjuwan terror attack in Jammu on Saturday in which a group of three heavily armed militants entered the camp killing six soldiers and a civilian.
