 Seven Pakistani  soldiers were killed  in a retaliatory fire by the Indian army in Poonch sector on Monday, while Pakistani side confirmed only four deaths.

The latest round of fire came in retaliation to the killing  of an Indian soldier on Saturday . The response was keeping in with the  Indian army chief Gen. Bipin Rawat’s vow that India will respond and  inflict heavy casualties  if they did not stop  the infiltration and cross border firing.

A senior army officer said that  as per their reports seven Pakistani soldiers were killed in the retaliatory fire.

Confirming the Indian assault the Inter Services Public Relations of Pakistan said that they lost four soldiers . It also claimed that they killed our Indian soldiers. However , the Indian army said that there were no casualties on this side.
