Jammu, May 5:

While addressing the workers meeting Former minister and BJP leader Sham Lal Sharma cautioned Kashmir centric parties who speak against the nation to desist from  issuing anti national statements for their political gains.

Sharma, who recently resigned from the Congress and joined the BJP,today chaired first monthly meeting of workers at Akhnoor. While addressing Sharma accused NC,Congress and PDP of being in a “habit of backing anti-Indian forces”, saying its promise to amend the AFSPA in militancy-hit Kashmir will only embolden terrorists.

“We appeal to the centre and state government that those leaders who are making anti-national statements every now and then, should be booked under the sedition law so that they will desist from such remarks,”he added.

He further said that If the Kashmir-based leaders  are raising anti-India statement, they should face the sedition law.

During the recent parliamentary elections a so called secular front consisting of Congress,NC and PDP was formed against BJP. The leaders of so called secular front which includes Ex CM’s Ghulam Nabi Azad,Farooq Abdullah,Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti didn’t addressed a single public meeting in Hindu dominated more than 30 assembly constituencies in Jammu Poonch and Udhampur Kathua Parliamentary seats.

Sham reminded these leaders of their statements in which they had said that complete Jammu is 2 and half district. “ I want to make clear to these leaders that people of Jammu will show their might on 23rd May and dismiss all their misgivings about the Jammu region.

Sham said anti national statement made by the leaders is against the unity and the integrity of the country and amounts to sedition”.

Sharma lambasted Congress leaders over the party’s promise of reviewing the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act and withdrawing the anti-sedition law, saying they should “drown” themselves in a pool of water, as he pledged his party’s support to the forces and sanctity of the AFSPA.

They have said in manifesto they will dilute AFSPA. They should be day-dreaming,” Sham said, alleging the Congress manifesto promotes the interest of terrorists and anti-India forces.

Taking a dig over the Congress, NC and PDP, Sham claimed “sadness had gripped” these parties and Pakistan after air strikes at Balakot.

“A surgical strike was not possible as Pakistan had deployed tanks along the borders. The Narendra Modi government carried out air strike and demolished the terror targets inside Pakistan,” he added.

Sham lal sharma also hailed the decision of UN to declare Azhar Masood as a global terrorist. This decision  is due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s diplomatic efforts led to the United Nation’s decision as he pitched for his “strong and decisive” leadership.

“That is why India needs a strong & decisive leader. Grateful to PM Narendra Modi and his diplomatic efforts that led to the UN designating Masood Azhar as a global terrorist. It was long overdue. This also reflects PM Narendra Modi’s commitment towards zero tolerance against terrorism.
