JAMMU, December 8:
A special cover was today released by Shri SP Vaid Hon’ble Transport Commissioner Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Jammu & Kashmir in the august presence of Shri Saugat Bishwas Secretary (IT) to the Government of J&K, Shri PD Tshering Chief Postmaster General, Jammu & Kashmir Circle Department of Posts.
The special cover was released to commemorate fruitful partnership between Department of Posts and MOTOR Vehicle Department, J&K for doorstep delivery of Driving Licences and Registration Certificates.
It was informed that in a short span of just 5 months since the service began on 2nd of July this year more than 55000 Driving Licences and Registration Certificates have been booked and successfully delivered at the doorsteps of common public and the service has received good response from the public.
