In order to exhume the hidden knacks of tiny tots and to give them a rostrum for exhibiting their potentialities, St. Mary’s Infant Pre School (SMIPS) organized a Fancy Dress Competition in which Infants came dressed in prismatic attires wearing goodly smiles to steal the hearts of one and all with their endearing appearances and pleasing performances.

The event was graced by the valued presence of  Anna Mary, Chairperson of St. Mary’s Infant Pre School who was the Chief Guest of the occasion. Mrs. Sonia Khan and Mrs. Shazia Kalyan, the proud parents of the students studying at SMIPS, were the special vedettes who judged the event along with the Chief Guest.

The contest was marked by dazzling performances by the students of Play-way, Nursery, LKG and UKG sections who performed with pride and panache. Lilliputians depicted multitude of themes like cleanliness, patriotism, righteousness and also enacted the roles of famous personalities such as Bhagat Singh, Saint Teresa, Indra Nooyi, Mark Zuckerberg and Super Heroes  to name a few. Various lovely fruits and vegetables were also in attendance. Children were smartly dressed and participated with much enthusiasm and enthralled everybody with their admirable acts.

The Chief Guest,  Anna Mary along with the vedettes awarded prizes to the students as a token of appreciation for their outstanding performances.  The students were judged on the yardsticks of introduction, costume, dialogue and overall performance.

Adrian Raj Anthony, who came as a Super Man was adjudged the winner in UKG Section while Arvind Angurana, who depicted a newspaper, was declared the runner up. In LKG Section, Utkarsh Mahajan bagged the first prize, while Aadhira Sharma and Jasneh Kaur stood second and third respectively. In Nursery Section, Vedant Mahajan stood first whereas Asad Khan secured the second place and the third position was shared by Eric Singh and Palak. In Play-way section, Nakshit Bhagat and Sansriti were declared as the winner and runner up respectively.

Speaking at the occasion, the special guests gave accolades to the school for its continuous and dedicated efforts in ensuring holistic growth and development of the students.

The event drew to a close with the formal address by the principal,  Sheetal Anthony, who eulogized the splendiferous performances of the tiny tots and lauded the staff for their exemplary contributions in the excellent put up by the students.  She also extended gratitude to the distinguished guests for their benign presence and gave plaudits to worthy parents for their everlasting support.
