Jammu, January 11: Jammu and Kashmir government has abolished the toll at Lakhanpur and Lower Munda for Non-commercial vehicles in the state budget 2018-19 presented by Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu on Thursday.

Earlier the government was charging a toll of Rs. 80 per light motor vehicle at the entry and exit of Lower Munda and Lakhanpur- the gateway to Jammu and Kashmir valley respectively.

Giving a bigger relief to the commuters in the state budget, Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu today said that his government has decided to abolish toll for non-commercial vehicles at Lakhanpur and Lower Munda.
