Jammu Police have launched a massive search of vehicles and patrolling was carried on the National Highway stretch from Narwal to ASCOMS Hospital today evening.
Police said that there was information that drug peddlers and drug addicts were active in that area and mostly youth mostly seen using drugs in the city outskirts on highway. Following this, restaurants on the national highway were also checked so that they are not indulging in drugs trade.
All the vehicles were thoroughly checked and were made to go after showing the documents.
