A major tragedy averted in Doda today afternoon when a boat carrying seven officials of Bhaderwah Development Authority during a trail capsized in Sui Gavadi area of Doda.
Police sources informed that seven persons of BDA including some trainers were on expedition in the area when their boat capsized, but all of them are rescued safely.
The SP operations Doda Ravinder Pal Singh immediately rushed to the spot and informed that incident took place around 1 pmand within no time police, army and other rescue teams were also reached the spot for operation.
Among the seven, one woman officer of the tourism department was also rescued and all are safe.
