Jammu police under its operation Sanjeevani, today arrested two persons alongwith 30 Kgs of Poppy Straw from Pacca Danga area of the City.
SSP Jammu, Vivek Gupta informed that during intervening night of 17/18 police party from Police Post Panjtirthi laid a Naka at Panjtirthi area, during checking Police Party signaled one Tempo to stop for Police check. During checking of vehicle Police Party recovered 30 Kgs Poppy Straw from the possession of two persons who were traveling in this vehicle. In this regard a case FIR No.10/2018under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Pacca Danga and further investigation of case is going on. The arrest and recovery was made by SI Ajay Kumar I/C PP Panjtirthi.
