Srinagar, July, 03: Nothing significant is expected today. Although, a brief shower in a few spots can’t be ruled out along both routes to the Amarnath Holy Cave.
Possibility of overnight/early morning monsoon showers will continue in Jammu areas.
Low Risk of shooting stones/landslides on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
Temperatures at the Amarnath Holy Cave & Sheshnag can peak around 20 – 24°C, while at night, these temperatures can come down to 11°C.
At Chandanwari & Baltal, temperatures can peak around 28 – 29°C, while night temperatures may stay around 15°C.
The activities of rain are expected to pick up from tomorrow onwards, with main activity expected on 05 & 06 July.
Expect a considerable drop in temperatures during this period (snowfall chances have although decreased).
Intense showers can’t be ruled out as mountains remain most vulnerable to it.
