Jammu, October 6:

Ten people, including four residents of Uttar Pradesh, were taken into preventive custody on Saturday for their alleged involvement in drug trafficking and other unlawful activities in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, police said.
The residents of UP, running barber shops in different areas here, were detained along with three local youths from Rajouri town, a police spokesman said.

All the seven were detained on the orders of executive magistrate, he said.

He said three more persons were taken into custody from Thanamandi area on the detection of executive magistrate of first class.
