Jammu, September 22:

Praising the Centre’s decision to scrap Article 370, Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Thakur said the government is committed to the development of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said the government had taken a “historic” decision to abrogate Article 370, which he claims will result in massive development in the entire region.

“Our government has taken a historic decision to abrogate Article 370. Now, J&K will witness massive development,”

Thakur also slammed Pakistan for spreading “fake propaganda” and went on to say that PoK is a part of India.

Shifting focus on the economy, the MoS Finance said several measures have been implemented for the revival of the economy, citing recent cuts in corporate tax and GST for certain categories.

Thakur concluded saying that the entire world is standing with India today due to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“PM Modi has developed a personal relationship with world leaders and the nation is benefiting from it. Today, the entire world is standing with India because of PM Modi,” he said.

Commenting on today’s “Howdy, Modi” event, Thakur said, “It is a matter of great pride for the nation as PM Modi will address a gathering of more than 50 thousand people in Houston.”
