Rajouri, February 22:
Following directions of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, a team of officers comprising of DSWO Dr Abdul Khabir, CDPO Auqil Nuvaid and District Information Officer Mohammad Shafait today conducted surprise inspections of various educational institutes and health centres in Muradpur, Doongi and Challas area of the District.
The team inspected 7 educational institutes including GHS Muradpur, GHSS Doongi, GMS Doongi, GMS Jatote, GPS Malikan Khaitan, GHS Challas and GPS Taryote Dehrian apart from PHC Kallar Chatyar and Medical Sub-centre Challas.
7 officials were found unauthorisedly absent from duty including headmaster of GHS Muradpur, incharge headmaster of GPS Teryot Dehrain, 2 parmedical staff of PHC Kallar Chatyar and 4 staff members of medical sub-center Challas. Meanwhile 6 officials were on casual leave, 1 on childcare leave, 1 on maternity leave and 16 on deputation. It was also found that one contractual lecturer of GHSS Doongi has not turned up for duties since past one week.
The inspection team also found that no movement register was maintained in the inspected offices except GHSS Doongi and GMS Doongi whereas OPD register was not maintained in sub-center Challas after December 18, 2017.
On the basis of report furnished by the inspection team, the district administration has initiated action against all the officials who were found absent from duties besides verifying the deputation orders of various officials.
