Srinagar, February 2:

In order to resolve the problem of lack of quality educational institutes in the border village of Nawai the Army has started conducting extra tution classes for children by hiring teachers from neighboring villages.

The board results which were out last month further glorified the Army’s effort as all the students passed out with flying colours. These students were felicitated by the Army on the Republic Day celebrations. The results have now encouraged more children to join the tuition classes. Now 84 students up-to class X have registered for the classes conducted at Dardkot and Nawa villages. The classes are now being conducted for students on a regular basis at both the villages. These tuition classes have not only generated the goodwill of villagers for the Army but will also go a long way in strengthening the bond shared between the Army and Awaam.
