Basant Rath, IGP Traffic J&K, who has strictly implemented traffic rules on Jammu roads in last little over 10 days, now today delivered a lecture to cops at Traffic Police Lines at Jammu in casual way.
Attired in hoody and track pants, the 2000 batch IPS officer Basant Rath today said that he is not personally against any cop, but all including men in uniform have to follow traffic rules.
Sharing some lighter moments with cops, Basant was sitting on a bench along with a Sub-Inspector and a constable and behaved with them as friends, which teaching them basic lessons of traffic rules ti wear helmet and seat belts and carrying the documents while driving.
“I am with you, as you all have bear stones and heat for me, but please follow traffic rules,” Basant said and added, “Do exercise daily and be fitness freak is good for cops.”
During his over 5 minutes chat with these cops, he also shared many jokes and also snubbed one of them who interupted him in midway.
