Ever since Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra’s rumoured break-up started doing the rounds, speculations around their current dating life has been numerously grabbing headlines. While Sidharth was rumoured to be dating Jacqueline Fernandez, Alia, on the other hand, has been reportedly dating her ‘Brahmastra’ co-star Ranbir Kapoor.
The two were recently spotted exiting from Zoya Akhtar’s house after a party. They had reportedly headed to their respective locations together in one car. Alia was asked about her link-up rumour with Ranbir Kapoor and whether it has affected their relationship and bond, she told a daily that she hasn’t asked Ranbir about the same yet. She further added that Ranbir wouldn’t pay much heed to these rumours and there was no need to clarify or deny anything.
Alia also professed that she feels very fortunate to be around him at this point in her life. She was also all praise for Ranbir and went on to reveal how he fascinates her and his vibe and behaviour makes him a really rare person. She concluded that she hasn’t seen much people like Rnabir ever since she has been alive.
While Alia has never gone on records about her rumoured relationship with Sidharth as well, while there were conjectures around them being in a relationship, she would just call him a “good friend”. However, this time when she was quizzed about Ranbir Kapoor, she neither accepted nor denied the rumours.

Alia professed that she also got a chance to interact with him personally and one thing that she loved about Ranbir was that he is all heart. His purity and simplicity is what translates in him as an actor. She also went on to say that there is absolutely nothing that she dislikes in him as of now.
When she was asked if there were any similarities between him and her, she said a yes and a no, both. Revealing the similarities, Alia said, that there are some weird and random things that match between them. She cited an example of Ranbir having a fixation for the number 8, and so does she. She also went on to reveal that they discovered this weird similarity while shooting for ‘Brahmastra’. Highlighting their zodiac signs, Alia concluded that him being a Libran and she being a Piscean, they are quite different from each other, but when it comes to having a connection on the sets, they’re similar.

A source close to the project revealed that Ranbir is not fond of working out but for ‘Brahmastra’ he has been asked to sport a lean body. The source further added that Ranbir has been working out rigorously to get the look right. He is also following a very strict diet for the project.
The source further mentioned that Ranbir had to bulk up for the upcoming Sanjay Dutt biopic for a few portions, due to which he gained weight. Now, Ranbir is working hard to shed all those extra kilos.

The makers took to Instagram and shared a picture of the power trio Ranbir, Alia and director Ayan and captioned it, “It’s a wrap on the first schedule for #Brahmāstra & the journey has only just begun!❤ #RanbirKapoor @aliaabhatt #AyanMukerji”.
In the winsome picture shared on social media, Alia is seen flanked by her co-star Ranbir and director Ayan on either side.
‘Brahmastra’, also starring superstar Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role, is set to hit the screens on August 15.
