The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary and DC Udhampur Ravinder Kumar is among the 12 collectors tp get national award from Prime Minister Modi.
Both the young IAS officers are among twelve District Collectors from across the country who will be awarded today by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on the eve of World Women’s Day.
A programme in this regard is been organised at Jhunjunu Rajasthan.
Prime Minister will award 12 District Collectors including 2 from J&K who include DC Rajouri, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary and DC Udhampur, Ravinder Kumar.
Dr. Shahid, a native of Rajouri’s Peeri Rehan area, is already a recepient of PM award on Good Governance and Election Commission of India’s award for best electoral practices in 2014 besides several other State, National and International awards.
Ravinder, presently serving as DC Udhampur, is a native of Haryana and earlier served as DC Reasi.
