Jammu, January 25:-
Former Minister Choudhary Gharu Ram and Senior leader Vinod Sharma today returned to Congress party after they left it few years back.
Both the leaders today joined Congress party in the presence of Congress’s national general secretary and incharge J&K affairs, Ambika Soni and Leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad at Govt guest house in Jammu. They were welcomed in to the party by PCC Chief G.A. Mir and other senior leaders during the course of PCC executive here today.
Gharu and Vinod earlier had joined PDP on the eve of last Assembly Elections in 2014. They described their joining Congress party as a home coming and announced to work for strengthening the congress party, which alone can ensure justice to all sections of the society and maintain unity and integrity of the state.
