Bar Association of Jammu in association with civil society and some other organisations to call for Jammu Bandh on wednesday.
In a over three hours long meeting Jammu Bar and civil society supported by Congress and National Panthers Party have decide to call for Jammu Bandh on Wednesday i.e April 11, but the final decision will be taken by Bar on Monday on its general house committee meeting.
BAJ president, Adv BS Slathia after the meeting said that the civil society and all other organisations present in the meeting have jointly decided to give final mandate to BAJ for decision on Jammu Bandh and way forward.
The BAR association called for Bandh over four important issues including official withdrawal of the minutes/Order in which the CM had instructed the Administration and the Police not to act against land encroachers, bovine smugglers and cow slaughterers, handing over the investigation of Rassana Murder Case to CBI, deportation of Rohingyas/Bangladeshi illegal immigrants and resolution of the issues raised by people of Nowshera, Sunderbani and Kalakote.
Slathia said that the general house committe of BAJ will held on Monday at 11 am and then final decision will be taken.
