Calling upon youth of Jammu region to stand united and shoulder their responsibility in upholding Dogra ethos, Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal today said that it was high time to mobilize masses to take the on-going battle to the logical conclusion.
While inaugurating Dragon House Gym, near Poonch House, Talab Tillo, here, Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said, ““the time has come when youth of Jammu region to lead from the front and come up to the expectations of the people. It is now the youth that have to step forward and take their fight against social evil like drug addiction to the logical conclusion”.
“Jammu is standing on crossroads. On side, it is facing through a very crucial juncture as forces inimical to brotherhood and communal harmony are hell bent to set this region on the fire for their petty political gains, while on the other side, Drug Mafia is trapping the youth to fall in their trap through drug abuse,” highlighted Zorawar Singh Jamwal adding that “Now the youth have to come forward and fight out such elements.”
While congratulating educated un-employed Rakesh Kumar for opening fitness house for the youth, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said, “it is the most appreciable part that our well educated unemployed youth are making themselves self-employed, that too by such means where the youth including students, college/university pass-outs get a chance to remain physically fit and healthy. By participating in such co-curricular activities, they also remain away from drug abuse or other social evils”.
Urging the youth to stay away from Drug abuse and play an important role in Nation Building and remain engaged in all sort of sports activities, Zorawar Singh Jamwal also appealed to the State Government to raise more infra-structure like open and indoor Stadiums and promote sports activities in each and every district of the State so that our young generation remains healthy and physically fit.
“All political parties are also duty-bound to evolve a mechanism to deal with Drug menace because State is virtually slipping into the tight grip of drug mafia; parents are helplessly watching their teenage children dying slow deaths due to failure of the authorities to crack down on Drug mafia” he added.
Samrat Jamwal, Shivam Gupta, Narinder Singh Manhas, Surinder Sharma, Vikramjeet Singh Jamwal, Akshay Gupta, Jagbir Singh Bahu, Sanjay Sharma and Sunil Raipuria were among other members of Team Jammu present on the occasion
