Opposition National Conference and Congress MLAs today staged walkout from the Lower House, when none other than Custodian of House, Speaker Kavinder Gupta complains over violation of protocol.
In the second sitting today MLA Udhampur Pawan Gupta was speaking over violation of protocol saying that he did not get space on the dice with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during inauguration of Chenani-Nashri Tunnel in April 2017 and it was violation of the protocol under BJP’s pressure.
Meanwhile, Speaker Kavinder Gupta disclosed his story saying that he too is the victim of the protocol violation as many a times cavalcade of Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh crosses his cavalcade, which is violation of protocol.
However, the Speaker also mentions that he is not having any personal issue with Deputy CM and it is just a protocol issue.
Following Speaker’s disclosure, the NC and Congress MLAs complaints that if the government is not securing the protocol of the Custodian of the House as well as the members of the House then this is really a matter of protest and all the NC-Congress members staged walkout.
