Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah wants the Karmi Sena activists to be tied in front of jeeps to manage the rampaging crowd stoning school buses while protesting against the screening of movie Padmvat in some parts of the country.
Omar, an over enthusiastic tweeterati , has taken to the micro–blogging site to mock at the crowd control methods while dealing with Karmi Sena violent protests . He was taking a jibe at the crowd control methods in the country and compared that to the tying of an alleged stone thrower to a jeep in Kashmir to avert the life-threatening situation for many army personnel and polling staff during Srinagar parliamentary by-poll in April last year.
Omar wrote on twitter: “Why aren’t Karni Sena goons being tied to the front of jeeps & paraded in front of school buses & cinema halls? Isn’t that a much lauded crowd control measure?”
