Ramban road accident: Death toll rises to 10

Ramban, March 16:

Death toll in the Ramban road accident has jumped to ten after hospital authorities declared five critically injured brought dead.  The deceased include three minors of age 2, 9 and 13 years.

The sumo skidded off the road and fell into a gorge at Khunda Nallah in Chanderkote area of Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as Romal Din, 61, son of Abdullah, a resident of Mildan, Immana Bano, 13, daughter of Zakir Hussain, a resident of Mildan Rajgah; Arjun Singh, 9, son of Jasveer Singh of Kumate; Babli Devi, 37, wife of Jasveer Singh, a resident of Kumate; Rubeena Begum 30, wife of Mohammad Akram of Tatarsoo Ramban; Mohammad Mubeen 23, son of Saidullaha of Satra Bhartund and a lady whose identification is being ascertained.
