Jammu, February 15: Army and other security forces have launched a search operation in Mendhar area of Poonch after some suspects seen in the area, this morning.
The PRO Defence, Lt Col Devender Anand confirmed that some suspicious movement was noticed in general area of Mendhar. He added that engagement has taken place.
“Now search in progress, next update only after completion on search,” he further added.
Sources said that there are reports that some suspects were seen with luggage rucksacks on their back.
