Shrine Board organises on the spot painting competition

KATRA, NOVEMBER 25 – As part of enlarging awareness about the importance of protection of the environment, the Forest Wing of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board organised an on-the-spot painting competition on the theme Environment Conservation at Kidzee School at Katra today. In all, 70 students from class 1^st to class 5^th participated in the painting competition.

Master Aarav of class 1^st was adjudged first, while Miss Manya of class 3rd and Master Ojas of class 2^nd stood second and third respectively in the class 1^st to class 3^rd category. Likewise, in the category from class 4^th to class 5^th, Miss Ananya Heera of class 4^th got first prize and Miss Ronak Sharma of class 5^th stood second. The third prize was jointly awarded to Miss Samya of class 4^th and Master Yugansh of class 5^th.

Mr. Rajinder Singh, Officer on Special Duty, Revenue, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board gave away prizes to the students.

The teachers and a large number of students were present on the occasion and lauded the efforts of the Shrine Board in environment protection.
