Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh today said that situation is improving in Kashmir and it is under our control.

Talking to few media persons at Mubarak Mandi today, Dr Singh said, “What is going on at present is continued since last many years.” He said that trerrorists are on run or are being killed in encounters, stonepleting is down in the valley and it is happened due to strictness by the government.

“Government’s policy is very clear, those are with gun are being treated with iron hands,” said the Deputy CM and further added that those want to come in mainstream after leaving their guns and wrong path, concession can be given to them, but if they will continue with militancy or separatism then cannot be spare anymore.”

Commenting on Dr Farooq Abdullah’s statements for talks with Pakistan or on Kashmir situation, Dr Singh said, “Farooq is in opposition, so he is desperate for power, as he was the CM and Union Minister too, so want to come back to power, which is not easy.”
