An Extension Lecture Series was organized by the School of Languages and Literature, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra (2nd-4th April, 2018) where Prof. ManjuJaidka, formerly Professor in English, Panjab University, Chandigarh and presentlyAdjunct Professor of the School of Languages & Literature, SMVD University addressed the students of School of Languages and Literature. Prof. ManjuJaidka, Chairperson MELOW and a novelist, in her various sessionsdiscussed Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, Golding’s Lord of the Fliesand the works of Ted Hughes.At the end of the session, Prof. Jaidka interacted with the MA & PhD students who appreciated her efforts for enlightening them with various aspects of the literary works.Being an editor of MELOW Journal of World Literature, she also motivated students to write and publish quality papers. Dr. Amitabh V.Dwivedi, Head, School of Languages and Literature congratulated her for such a enriching and stimulating session.
