Army has lodged an FIR with Jammu police after an incident of stone pelting on Sunjuwan Military Station was reported on Friday.
Official sources informed that an incident of stone pelting by some civilians happened yesterday in Sunjuwan Military Station.
“The stone  pelting was done on post No 12 which is adjacent to the area which was suspected entry point of the terrorists during recent attack,” said sources and added, “Then Army lodged an FIR in the nearest police station and the police acted very promptly and handled  the situation effectively.”
The police also carried out further checks in the area from where the stone pelting was done.
Even some suspects were identified by police. Presently police keeping vigil in the area.
This is for the first time, when stone pelting incident has been reported in Jammu.
