Jammu, February 21: Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to implement the property tax in the union territory from April 1, 2023 and it will be applicable on both commercial as well as residential buildings.
According to the government there will be no tax on residential property within 1000 square feet and there will be nominal tax on residential property in between 1000 to 2000 square feet.
