Jammu, February 26 : Pakistan continue to push drugs through Line of Control (LoC) as part of its Narco-terrorism plan in Jammu and Kashmir but security forces are foiling any such nefarious design.
In this regards, police and Army recovered high-value drugs from a village neat LoC in Poonch district of Jammu region.
Sources told JK News Today that police arrested three smugglers involved in drug smuggling in Noorkote village on LoC in Poonch district and recovered around three kilograms of high value drugs. “Acting on a specific input, police and Army launched a joint operation and arrested three people who were involved in the cross LoC drugs smuggling racket,” sources added.
Jammu and Kashmir police and State Investigation Agency (SIA) have been working on the cross LoC narcotics racket which is related to narco-terrorism. A woman was recently arrested by SIA in Kashmir as well.
