Mongolia | 25 May 2026: In a historic achievement for Jammu & Kashmir, Indian para taekwondo athlete Chandeep Singh won the Gold Medal in the Over 80 Kg category at the officially recognized 11th Asian Para Taekwondo Championship held in Mongolia on 25 May 2026.

This remarkable victory marks the first-ever Gold Medal for Jammu & Kashmir in an Asian Taekwondo Championship, creating a proud moment for the Union Territory and the nation.
