Today on 02 July 2021, a Blood donation camp was organized by Frontier HQ BSF Jammu, in collaboration with Deptt of blood transfusion, Govt Medical College Jammu and Red Cross society Jammu. This Blood donation camp was inaugurated by N S Jamwal, IG Frontier Jammu, in presence of S K Singh, DIG/PSO, Dr Karnail Singh, Commandant (Medical) Frontier HQ BSF Jammu and other BSF officers and men.
During the camp a total of 71 BSF Personnel including Officers & men donated blood to save the precious lives of the patients. Dr Neeti Dutt, registrar ,GMCH Jammu, Miss Vironica Marwah, field officer Red Cross society and her team was present during this Blood donation camp.
On this occasion N S Jamwal emphasized that blood donation is most noble cause and significant contribution that a person can make towards the society. It is not harmful for an adult person to donate blood and this can save a precious human life in need.
